ABOUT EMBER / SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
Built around
Bringing us together.
Ember Event Co creates running events with personality, a welcoming spirit, and a reason to stick around after the finish.
INDEPENDENT. COMMUNITY-MINDED. ALL IN.
Good miles.
Better company.
Ember is an independent event business based in San Diego, led by Michael Ippolito. Running events are our focus. Bringing people together is the reason behind them.
Through Average Joe Run and Roasted Run, we create approachable race experiences with a personality of their own. Now we’re bringing that creative and practical support to companies, nonprofits, and independent race organizers.
Build a race with us, bring a team to one of ours, or simply join us at the starting line. There’s room for your kind of people here.
THE REASON WE RUN
Come for
The miles.
Stay for
The people.
A great run has room for a lot of different paces.
First-timers. Regular runners. Walkers. The friend who’s mostly here for the coffee. We build experiences that make people feel part of something.
